Michael Foot, who gave up the Labour leadership in 1983 and stood down as MP for Blaenau Gwent at the last election, and the outgoing leader Neil Kinnock, at Westminster yesterday. Mr Foot's Welsh colleagues presented him with a farewell gift of a painting of the Black Mountains at Abergavenny
