Not every political leader had dreams of power and parliament from an early age: when he was a young boy, Ed Miliband was more enthused by the Routemaster than being master of the land.
The Labour leader was asked by a child in the audience of a campaign event what he wanted to do when he was seven-years-old.
Miliband confessed that he wanted to be a bus conductor due to his fascination with the machines that "turned round the tickets."
Claiming that millions of families are being priced out of the property market, he committed a Labour government to scrapping stamp duty for 90 per cent of first-time buyers.
