London Mayoral hopeful Frank Dobson has accused rival Labour nominee of spreading false rumours in a bid to derail his campaign.
Mr Dobson was angered by newspaper reports this morning suggesting he was upset by the increasingly bitter and wanted to pull out.
The former Health Secretary told BBC Radio that Left Wing candidate Ken Livingstone was "going around" saying he was depressed.
"Finally he has got some clods to publish his claims," Mr Dobson added.
