FOUR hostages, including a woman, overpowered their captor yesterday, ending a 14-hour siege in a dental surgery at Hay- on-Wye, Powys. They held him while screaming for police help. The man, who had two imitation handguns, had marched an off-duty policeman and another man into the surgery and took eight more hostages. A suspect was being questioned last night.
