A WOMAN fell 3,000ft to her death in front of her family yesterday after her parachutes failed to open. The 37-year-old woman, from Walton-on- Thames, Surrey, who was not named, jumped from an aircraft at RAF Weston-on-the-Green near Bicester, Oxfordshire.

A police spokesman said initial reports suggested that her parachute and emergency parachute failed to open and she fell on open ground.
