Your support makes all the difference.A MAN was last night charged with conspiring to cause an explosion and possession of Semtex, Scotland Yard said. Vincent James Wood, 29, a sales representative of Cann Hall Road, Leytonstone, east London, will appear before Bow Street magistrates today.
Detectives continued questioning at least three people last night as anti-terrorist branch officers followed up on their discovery of 77lbs of explosive in east London, but Scotland Yard was giving few details about the inquiry.
Among those being held at the high security Paddington Green police station in west London were believed to be a 29-year-old Englishman, his wife and a 35- year-old salesman.
