The Prime Minister, John Major, will be the inaugural guest when the Sunday morning interview and current affairs programme Breakfast With Frost switches channels from TV-am to BBC 1 next month.

David Frost's new programme, which will run from 8.15am to 9.15am, is described as an 'in-depth Sunday supplement'.

It will be sold on to BSkyB, which will screen it on Sky News between 9.30am and 10.30am the same morning, and will be seen on the BBC's World Service Television.
