The inquiry by Sir John May into the wrongful convictions of the Maguire Seven, quashed by the Court of Appeal last year, will reopen today to hear the results of an investigation into the scientific evidence at the 1976 trial. Flaws in the evidence formed the basis for Sir John's recommendations that the convictions were unsound.
