InterCity to woo passengers with free seats

InterCity is to offer 25,000 free seats on its services to woo passengers back after the strike, during which it estimates it lost about pounds 53m in revenue. To regain customer confidence it will run a competition whose winners will get free travel on InterCity routes on 8 and 9 November.
