Two 12-year-old girls who went missing after walking to a local bus stop in north London have been found "safe and well", police said.
No further information on where or how they were found has been given.
Friends Wiktoria Popiel, from Wood Green, and Vitalija Sidlauskaite, from Tottenham, had been reported missing by their families after last being seen together on Morley Avenue in Wood Green, London around 5pm yesterday.
Wiktoria was walking Vitalija to the bus stop on nearby Lordship Lane but did not return home.
Police had said that their disappearance was "completely out of character" and that officers and their families were "extremely concerned for their welfare". Neither had gone missing before.
