Storm Callum: Floods close roads and disrupt travel across Wales and Scotland
South Wales hit with severe flooding
Storm Callum caused further disruption across the UK on Saturday, as heavy downpours continued.
An amber warning for rain remained in place until 6pm for south Wales, which was hit with severe flooding, swollen rivers and blocked roads.
Heavy rainfall in the area led to the River Usk bursting its banks.
The town of Crickhowell was hit by particularly severe flooding as water from the river flowed into roads, leaving them blocked.
Teams from Natural Resources Wales used sandbags in an attempt to divert the floodwaters.
They also closed some flood gates and deployed pumps.
Residents on Twitter described the town as an "island" as main roads out of the area were briefly blocked.
Particularly high rainfall was recorded across the Brecon Beacons, with the village of Libanus receiving 182 mm of rain in 48 hours.
Bad weather also led to speed restrictions being imposed on rail routes, causing numerous travel delays.
A key road in Scotland, the A83 at the Rest and Be Thankful in Argyll and Bute, was closed following tonnes of debris falling on to it after multiple landslips.
3,000 tonnes of debris has fallen on to the road since Tuesday.
Drivers across the UK were warned to take care, due to surface water on the roads causing accidents.
The Met Office said that rain would continue through Saturday night over Northern Ireland and Scotland.
Showers should ease over Wales and the climate will be mild in England overnight.

The Scottish Environment Protection Agency has issued two flood warnings, for the Upper Tay and Ballinluig to Logierait in Tayside.
Natural Resources Wales say that teams of staff are trying to combat floodwaters through deploying sandbags and pumps and closing flood gates in areas such as Aberddulais.
The Met Office has updated its yellow weather rain warning, which is in force across the south of Scotland until midnight.
South Wales Police is advising people in the area to only travel if necessary.
The Met Office has a yellow "be aware" alert in place for the south west of Scotland and the Lothians, Borders and Strathclyde areas.

The attraction will remain closed until the end of the weekend.
Work is underway to clear a key road in Scotland after it was closed due to landslips.
Rain caused debris to fall on the A83 carriageway and Old Military Road in Argyll and Bute.
Approximately 3,000 tonnes of debris has fallen on the road since Tuesday.
The Met Office has warned of "fast flowing or deep floodwater " in Scotland, which may cause "a danger to life".
Traffic Scotland has urged motorists to drive with caution due to surface water on the roads.
