Daniel Green, 26, is accused of attacking a woman in her twenties after the pair snorted cocaine and drank alcohol with colleagues in the offices of brokerage company StratX in central London.
The woman, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, alleged she was asleep under a desk and said “No” when Mr Green tried to attack her, dragging her towards him as she tried to crawl away and assaulting her under a desk.
But Mr Green denied rape and the complainant's version of events, saying it all happened "in an instant" and that she never said anything to him during the encounter.
Describing the office party where cocaine and alcohol was consumed – though he denied involvement with drugs – Mr Green said he went into a nearby room to find a mobile phone charger after the majority of people had left.
Discovering the woman beneath a desk, he claimed they got into a conversation about her work - "a normal conversation you would have with anyone".
"When you are talking to someone you notice glances, you have got eye contact. You don't say anything. You might smile. I leaned in for a kiss and we had a snog."
While they were kissing, Mr Green stripped down to his socks while unclipping her bra with one hand and helping her out of her black leggings, he said.
He tried to have sex with her in a "spooning" position, but it was "awkward" so they turned around to face each other, he said.
Mr Green then noticed the woman was crying and believed it was because his penis was causing her to suffer pain, telling the court: "I looked up and I see a tear on her face. So I sat back. I said, 'Fuck, you are crying'. She replied, 'Can you leave please, just go'."
Asked why he thought she was crying, he said: "Maybe my penis was hurting her. I always have difficulty when it comes to having sex with girls. I find my penis is hard to penetrate females."
The defendant said his penis was 10 inches long and around four inches in girth, demonstrating for the jury with his hand.
The trial continues.
