Footage has been released that shows a shocking incident of road rage between two east London drivers, resulting in one of the men appearing to get rammed by a sports car.
During the incident that was filmed in broad daylight on 9 April, an unidentified shirtless man and a driver of a white BMW are captured arguing after a disagreement in the middle of Curtain Road near Old Street station.
Both men can be heard swearing at each other, as traffic builds up behind them. The shirtless man, with his shirt back on now, then appears on and attempts to hit the driver through his window.
He is pulled away but after returning to confront the driver of the BMW revs his engine, before accelerating into the man and appearing to trap him between three cars.
A Scotland Yard spokeswoman said: “Police were called to the scene of a fight between two men at Curtain Road, EC2 at 16.57pm on April 9.
"At some point during the altercation, one of the men left the scene in his car and in doing so collided with two pedestrians and two other vehicles.
”The pedestrians struck by the vehicle were not seriously injured.”
