Your support makes all the difference.London Underground has released its first Night Tube map outlining which stations will operate 24-hour services on weekends from September.
The Night Tube will be available on the following lines; Central, Jubilee, Northern, Piccadilly and Victoria.
Passengers will be able to travel on Friday and Saturday nights and in the early hours of Saturday and Sunday mornings.
Transport for London estimates that journeys will be cut by 20 minutes on average and will boost the economy in the capital city by £360m, whilst creating 2,000 new jobs.
However, the move has proved controversial amongst Tube drivers. Some have arranged strike action in protest over pay and conditions for the all night service and will walk out for 24 hours on 8 July.
London Underground’s Director of Strategy and Service Development, Gareth Powell, told The Independent: “The introduction of the Night Tube is a historic step in our modernisation of the Underground. The Night Tube map shows our customers exactly when and where they can use this landmark service, which will make their late night journeys quicker and easier than ever before.”
The new services will commence on 12 September.
