Mass killer Rose West starts appeal proceedings against her 10 murder convictions later this month.

Her solicitor today said the appeal application was ready to be submitted.

She is serving life for the murders of the young women at the notorious 25 Cromwell Street address in Gloucester, that she shared with her husband Fred.

He killed himself on New Year's Day 1995, while in jail awaiting trial.

She has always blamed him for the killings.

Leo Goatley, her solicitor, said her application to the Cases Review Commission, which examines alleged miscarriages of justice, was prepared.
