A crimefighting milkman, featured in the IoS's first Happy List – the annual list of Britons that make the country a better place – is to be made an MBE this week.
Tony Fowler, 50, from Melton Mowbray in Leicestershire, will be dressed in a cow suit when he receives the honour from the Queen on Wednesday. Mr Fowler has helped in the arrest of 25 criminals while on his daily rounds. He said: "I am very humbled and privileged. It's a great honour for all milkmen."
