Your support makes all the difference.A two-year-old girl is fighting for her life after falling out of a window in a four-storey block of flats in Portsmouth.
Police were called to an address in Mulberry House, Bedford Street, shortly after 6pm on Thursday to reports that the girl had fallen from her bedroom window.
She sustained “life-threatening injuries” and was airlifted to hospital. Hampshire Police said it has opened an investigation into the incident.
Residents from the building said the “happy and sweet” girl lives at the property with her mother and father.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Police said: “Officers attended Bedford Street just after 6pm yesterday (May 29) following a report of a two-year-old girl being injured.
“The girl suffered life-threatening injuries and was airlifted to hospital.
“We are making enquiries into the exact circumstances.”
