A search is currently underway for a three-year-old child who has gone missing in Dornoch, Sutherland, Scotland.
RAF Kinloss, Northern Constabulary, the Coastguard and mountain rescue teams are currently searching for the child who disappeared in a heavily wooded area. It is not known whether the child is a boy or a girl.
A spokesman for Northern Constabulary stated that the youngster had gone missing at the Falls of Shin between Bonar Bridge and Lairg. A spokesman for RAF Kinloss, Michael Mulford, said that the search became increasingly difficult as darkness fell.
The last sighting of the the child was at 4.30pm.
