A man has died after falling from a ridge in Snowdonia National Park.
According to Llanberis Mountain Rescue, a 30-year-old man was part of a group of three who were climbing the Crib Goch ridge - which means "red ridge" in Welsh and is over 3,000ft above sea level - when the incident happened at around 1pm on Sunday.
It is believed the group had already turned back due to heavy snow.
A spokesman for the mountain rescue service told the BBC the death was the result of a “tragic accident”.
It comes just a fortnight after a woman in her 50s fell 200ft to her death while heading down the western face of Tyrfan in Ogwen Valley in the park.
The woman’s husband called the emergency services and was later escorted from the scene as Ogwen Valley Mountain Rescue Team searched for her body.
