A man and a child have been killed and several other people injured following a crash involving a car and a minibus in Cheshire.
North West Ambulance Service said it had responded to what it described as a "very large incident" on the A34 road in Alderley Edge at around 12.15am on Sunday morning.
Two people, an adult man and a child, had been killed during the collision, the ambulance service said.
In total, nine other passengers were injured, seven of which were taken to Macclesfield General Hospital.
One man involved in the incident is being treated at Manchester Royal Infirmary, while another child is being treated at the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital.
Cheshire Fire and Rescue service said its crews had attended the scene to help remove casualties from vehicles involved in the crash.
