CORNISH fishermen and farmers are being monitored in a huge study to see if Celts are more prone to diabetes. The University of Plymouth is screening people who can trace their families back generations in the county. Blood and DNA 'genetic fingerprinting' tests are being carried out as part of a three-year study into the causes of the condition.
