The Archbishop of York will visit workers at the doomed Corus steelworks on Teesside today

Dr John Sentamu will speak to some of the 1,700 employees who have been told they will lose their jobs when the Redcar plant is mothballed.

He will be joined by Redcar's Labour MP Vera Baird for the visit, where they will meet trade union representatives.
