They are for artistic gymnastics, trampolining, tennis, basketball, road cycling, volleyball, beach volleyball, taekwondo and archery, and have become available now that the venue seating plans have been finalised.
London 2012's commercial director, Chris Townsend, said: "Further tickets will be released on an almost daily basis from now until Games time."
Seats within hospitality suites to watch the basketball, artistic gymnastics and trampolining at the North Greenwich Arena are for sale in today's new batch.
The tickets are available at www.tickets.london2012.com or via phone at 0844 847 2012, but sports fans can only pay with a Visa debit, credit or prepaid card.
Mr Townsend said: "We encourage anyone interested in buying tickets to visit the ticketing website regularly to check the latest ticket availability".
