When can I watch it?
The BBC is broadcasting three debates in the run up to the EU referendum on 23 June. The first of these debates, ‘How Should I Vote? The EU Debate’, will air on BBC One and Radio 5 Live on Thursday 26 May at 8pm.
What will happen?
The show will be presented by Victoria Derbyshire from Glasgow, and aimed at younger voters. The audience will be made up of 18-29 year olds, who will be able to ask questions about the EU and Brexit throughout the debate.
Who will be on the panel?
There will be four panellists in total, split equally among the Remain and Leave camps. On the Remain side will be the SNP MP Alex Salmond, who was former First Minister of Scotland, and Alan Johnson MP, who used to be Home Secretary under Gordon Brown.
Arguing the case for Leave will be Liam Fox, the Conservative MP and former Secretary of State for Defence, and Diane James, a UKIP MEP and party spokesperson on Justice and Home Affairs.
When are the other debates happening?
After ‘How Should I Vote?’, there will be two remaining EU referendum debates on the BBC. The second will be a Question Time special with Michael Gove, airing on BBC One at 6.45 on Wednesday 15 June. The third and final debate will be another Question Time special, this time with David Cameron. This will air on BBC One at 6.45pm on Sunday 19 June.
