Your support makes all the difference.Robert Wallington, 37, an Regional Crime Squad detective, was yesterday jailed for nine months and banned from driving for two years for causing the deaths of two men who were on a stolen police motorcycle.
The two died from multiple injuries when Wallington deliberately placed his unmarked car in the path of the motorcycle, Winchester Crown Court was told. The deaths were followed by three nights of rioting on the Hartcliffe estate, Bristol.
Wallington's colleague, Pc Anthony Knight, 32, was cleared of dangerous driving.
