Walthamstow stabbing: Teenager, 17, dies after knife attack

A teenage boy has been stabbed to death in northeast London

Police pronounced the 17-year-old dead at the scene after he was found injured in Walthamstow on Friday evening.  

No arrests had been made as of Saturday morning.

The Metropolitan Police said officers were called to Westbury Road in Walthamstow around 9.20pm.

They were alerted after the teenager was found suffering from a stab wound. 

He was treated by paramedics at the scene but was pronounced dead despite their best efforts, the Met said. 

Officers are working to establish his identity and inform his next of kin. 

An investigation led by detectives from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command (Homicide) has been launched. 

The Met have appealed for any witnesses or those with information to call 101 or tweet @MetCC quoting 8357/23Oct.
