Video: Mark Duggan's family express anger over verdict
Mark Duggan was lawfully killed by armed police officers in a shooting that sparked riots across England, jurors found today.
The verdict has left the friends of Mr Duggan shocked and angry. Speaking outside the Royal Courts of Justice in central London, Mr Duggan's aunt Carole Duggan claimed that he had been "executed".
"For as long as it takes, god give my family strength, not only the family, the whole of the legal team, the whole of our friends, the people that we don't even know that have supported, Ms Duggan said."
She added: "We're going to fight until we have no breath in our body for justice, for Mark, for his children and for all those other deaths in custody that have had nothing".
While his brother Shaun Hall said they came for justice and that was not what they had received. Mr Hall said: "We're not going to hide, we don't feel we've got anything to hide for. The people who do need to hide, they know who they are. We've got nothing to hide, we've done nothing wrong. We still fight for justice, we still want justice. We find out where we go from here."
