Two women were due to appear in court today charged with the murder of a man whose body was found in a house.

The body of Nigel Clarke was found after officers were called to the house in Eastfield Road, Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, at about 8pm on Wednesday.

Erica Butkeviciene, 47, and Stella McNulty, 45, both of no fixed address, were charged last night and were expected to appear at Peterborough Magistrates' Court today.

Two men, aged 59 and 45, who were also arrested on suspicion of murder on Thursday, have both been released on bail pending further enquiries.

Cambridgeshire Police said anyone with any information should call its Major Crime Unit on 101.
