Two face court on terror charges

Two men will appear in court today charged with terrorism offence, police said.

Raingzieb Ahmed, 32, from Fallowfield, Manchester, was arrested at Heathrow Airport when he arrived back in the UK after being held on suspicion of militancy in Pakistan.

A 17-year-old from Dewsbury, West Yorkshire, has also been charged with offences under the Terrorism Act 2000.

Both were due to appear before City of Westminster magistrates in London today.
