Two British men charged with attending foreign terror training camp
Two men have been charged with attending an overseas terror training camp after they were arrested in connection with the Syria conflict.
Mohommod Hassin Nawaz, 29, and Hamza Nawaz, 22, both of Stratford, East London, were also charged with unlawful possession of five rounds of rifle ammunition.
The 29-year-old was also charged with having a laptop with information useful to someone committing an act of terrorism.
They are due to appear in court on Monday. The pair were stopped for a border check by Kent police on Monday last week after they arrived by ferry in Britain, who alerted anti-terror officers.
Police later searched several other addresses and arrested a man and woman in their 30s, who were released without charge.
