Two arrested after man is stabbed to death in east London
Two men have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man was found stabbed in the back in the street.
Metropolitan Police said the victim, believed to be aged in his early 30s, was found in Poplar, east London shortly after 10pm on Friday. He died in hospital a short time later.
“Two men have been arrested on suspicion of murder,” a Scotland Yard spokesman said. “They have been taken to east London police stations.”
Officers have not yet formally identified the man, who was found in Simpsons Road at the junction with Poplar High Street.
