Third man sought in millionaire case
A third suspect has been named in the case of the murdered millionaire, Amarjit Chohan, and his missing family. Scotland Yard detectives are already searching for two men who are believed to have fled to Europe after the murder of Mr Chohan, whose body was found in the sea near Bournemouth pier last month.
His wife, two sons and mother-in-law are missing, having disappeared from their home in west London in February.
Yesterday police named Peter Douglas Rees, 38, as someone they want to question. He is said to be a close associate of two suspects, Ken Regan, 54, alias Avery, and William Horncy, 51, alias Smith. Both were seen last Thursday boarding a cross-Channel ferry at Dover.
Detective Chief Inspector Norman McKinlay, of the Metropolitan Police, said the third suspect had links to the Hampshire and Dorset areas. He asked anyone who had hired a boat to the suspects to come forward. Det Chief Insp McKinlay said of Mr Rees: "At present we are unable to locate him. We do believe that he is still in this country."
Police said they were anxious to find out if Mr Chohan had been intimidated or threatened before leaving his business, where he was last seen on 13 February.
