Teenager jailed for Facebook murder
A teenager who fatally stabbed a former friend over a "loss of face" after they traded insults on Facebook was jailed for at least 14 years.
The killer, who was 15 at the time and who cannot be named, knifed Salum Kombo, 18, in the chest in Bromley-by-Bow, east London, in December last year. He was found guilty of murder at the Old Bailey in May. Judge Nicholas Loraine-Smith, sentencing him at Southwark Crown Court, said: "There was nothing brave about what you did. This was quite simply an act of cowardice, as so many stabbings are."
