Teenager denies murdering student

A teenager appeared at the Old Bailey today to deny murdering a student who was found with a stab wound to her neck.

Yahya Gul, 18, of Charlbury Gardens, Ilford, east London, was remanded in custody to face trial on October 11.

Aliza Mirza, 18, also from Ilford, was pronounced dead in hospital after being found in Forest View Road, Manor Park, in April.
