Teenage girl charged after being filmed slamming another girl's head into the pavement

A teenage girl has been charged by police after she was filmed brutally slamming another young girl’s head into the pavement.
The footage shows a young girl being attacked by the teenage girl in broad daylight on the streets of Cowdenbeath, Fife, in front of a crowd of children.
A girl pins a younger teenager against a wall, laughing as she says her victim is “pure shaking like a leaf”.
She then drags her to the ground by her hair and starts punching her.
After that, she drags the girl around a corner by her hair – followed by the crowd – before pinning her to the ground and repeatedly slamming her head against the pavement. During the attack, her friends can be heard to shout “just leave her”.
The film was shot on 16 August, according to STV.
The Courier reported that officers confirmed today that a 15-year-old girl had been charged.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “Police in Fife have charged a 15-year-old girl in connection with an assault in the Cowdenbeath area.
“The incident was reported to police on Sunday, August 16. A report will be submitted to the Children’s Reporter.”
The video comes after a 16-year-old girl was sent “thousands of death threats” in July after she appeared in another viral video attacking two other teenagers. She was given a 10-month intensive referral order.
