Teen critical after stabbing

A 17-year-old youth who was stabbed outside a college remains in a life-threatening condition in hospital, police have said.

The victim, who has not been named, was critically injured near Bournville College in Birmingham at about 1.30pm yesterday.

A West Midlands Police spokesman said a person arrested around a hour after the attack near the scene was still being questioned by officers.
