12-year-old boy charged over London stabbing
Minor will appear at Barkingside Youth Court on Saturday
A 12-year-old boy has been charged with stabbing a 20-year-old man in East London.
The assault has been deemed “non-fatal” by the Metropolitan Police.
Police were called to Marlands Road, Ilford, just before 4pm on Friday.
The 12-year-old boy was arrested at the scene and charged with robbery and possession of a bladed article.
An ambulance attended the scene and brought the 20-year-old victim to an East London hospital, where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
The minor will appear at Barkingside Youth Court on Saturday.
