Search for men who raped girl in Walthamstow, east London

Police are hunting for three men after a 12-year-old girl was raped.

The victim was in Walthamstow, east London, between 12.15am and 12.30am on Saturday when she met the three men, Scotland Yard said. She was taken to a garage area at Hibbert Road, , where she was pinned down and raped by two of them.

The girl called a friend who went to the scene and they left together. The three men are described as being between 17 and 19-years old.

Detective Inspector Simon Ellershaw said: "This was a very nasty attack on a vulnerable girl by a group of older males who engaged her in conversation before leading her to a secluded area."
