Police quiz man over bar murder
Detectives investigating the murder of a man at a bar were today questioning a 25-year-old male.
The 40-year-old victim, who was not named, was stabbed to death at Mezz Bar in Ruston Way, Lincoln, in the early hours of yesterday.
Police and paramedics were called to the scene at 1.45am and the man was later pronounced dead in hospital.
A spokesman for Lincolnshire Police said: "A 25-year-old local man is in custody in relation to the murder of a 40-year-old man.
"Inquiries continue and the appeal for witnesses still stands."
The results of a post mortem examination will be released today.
