Pensioner, 83, is arrested over fatal stabbing of 60-year-old man

A pensioner was arrested yesterday after a 60-year-old man was fatally stabbed.

Police said they were called to a disturbance in Bridgwater, Somerset, on Thursday morning. The victim, who has not been identified, was flown to Musgrave Park Hospital in Taunton, where he later died from his injuries. An 83-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder, Avon and Somerset Police said. It is understood that the pensioner has since been taken to hospital and is receiving medical treatment.
