Parents remanded on baby murder charge
The parents of a four-month-old baby appeared at the Old Bailey today charged with his murder.
Jayden Moses Wray died three days after being admitted to hospital in July last year and was found to have suffered head injuries and multiple fractures.
His father, Rohan Wray, 20, and mother, Chana Al-Alas, 18, formerly of the Barnsbury estate, Islington, north London, appeared in court via videolink today.
Both are charged with murder and causing or allowing the death of the baby.
Wray was remanded in custody while Al-Alas was granted conditional bail, with both due to appear for a plea and case management hearing on November 9.
