Pair killed inmate to eat his liver
Two prisoners who disembowelled a fellow inmate were told by a judge yesterday that they are likely to spend the rest of their lives in jail.
Michael Parr, 33, and Nathan Mann, 24, were serving life sentences at Frankland Prison, Co Durham, Newcastle Crown Court heard.
They lured Mitchell Harrison, 23, a child rapist, into Mann's cell and cut his neck with a razor blade, stabbed him in the eye with a pen and cut open his stomach. They planned to eat his liver but could not bring themselves to do it. Parr admitted murder, and Mann manslaughter.
