Met Police shoot man during 'intelligence led' raid in north London

A man has been shot during an "intelligence led" raid in north London.
Metropolitan police officers carried out the operation in Bracknell Close, in north London, with armed officers attending. The operation was not linked to terrorism.
During the raid an unidentified man was shot, sustaining "gunshot wounds", at around 9am. Details surrounding his condition have not been released.
There are no reports of any other injuries but London’s Air Ambulance and London Ambulance Service are both still on the scene, according to a statement from the Met.
The Directorate of Professional Standards have been informed, and inquiries into the incident are ongoing.
