Man's body found on farm property

Detectives were today investigating the suspicious death of a man whose body was discovered at a farm property.

Police were alerted by South East Coast Ambulance Service following an emergency call to the farm off the A21 near Robertsbridge, East Sussex, at 8.10am today.

Officers from Sussex Police's major crime branch are leading the investigation, which they said was in its very early stages.

Detective Chief Inspector Adam Hibbert, who is leading the inquiry, said: "We are treating this man's death as suspicious. The man's identity is yet to be confirmed.

"I would appeal to anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area overnight or knows anything that could be useful to get in touch."
