Man jumps from window in front of police in botched escape attempt
Three arrests in operation led by Kent Police
Footage has captured a man throwing himself from a bedroom window to escape police during a raid.
The incident, caught on a mobile phone, saw plain-clothed officers entering the front door of the property in Portswood, Southampton.
A man can then be seen jumping from a first-floor window, scrambling to get to his feet before police surround him.
Kent Police who led the operation, joined by Hampshire Police officers, confirmed a total of three men were arrested from the address.
"Two of the men were aged 24 and the third was 18,” said Kent Police spokesman Steve Knight. “They were all transported to a police station in Kent where they remain in custody on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs."
"We will not hesitate to travel the length and breadth of the country to arrest those suspected of being involved in the supply of crack cocaine and heroin. Our eyes and ears are everywhere."
