A 32-year-old man was arrested today under the Terrorism Act 2000 on suspicion of being concerned in the commission, preparation, or instigation of acts of terrorism.

A 32-year-old man was arrested today under the Terrorism Act 2000 on suspicion of being concerned in the commission, preparation, or instigation of acts of terrorism.

The man was detained by officers from the Anti-Terrorist Branch in Wembley, London, as part of an intelligence-led operation at 12.05am, Scotland Yard said.

He was taken to a central London police station where he remains in custody and will be interviewed by officers from the Anti-Terrorist Branch.

Police executed a search warrant under the Terrorist Act 2000 at the residential premises in Wembley.
