Man found stabbed to death in flat named
A 58-year-old man found stabbed to death in a flat was named today by police.
Paul Hancock was discovered dead in the same block of flats as 66-year-old John Matthews.
Officers found the body of Mr Matthews, who was known as Dave, last Sunday evening at the complex on Waterford Drive, Chaddesden, Derby, after he failed to turn up for work.
Then on Friday morning they discovered Mr Hancock's body.
Derbyshire police say both men were stabbed and the murders are linked.
A 47-year-old man, from Derby, arrested on suspicion of murder by Cumbria Police in Whitehaven on Friday is in custody in relation to other matters.
Detectives said they would question him again at a later date.
