Man due in court over death outside nightclub

A man will appear in court today charged with killing a 28-year-old who suffered a head injury outside a nightclub.

The 23-year-old male suspect is to appear before magistrates in Wellingborough, Northants, accused of the manslaughter of Stuart Nathan Martin.

Mr Martin, who was from Wellingborough, was pronounced dead in hospital on Saturday after an incident outside the town's Bar Life venue in the early hours.

A Northamptonshire Police spokesman said a second man arrested in connection with the death, who is also aged 23, had been released on bail pending further inquiries.
