Man arrested over murder of Kevin McDaid
Another man was arrested today for questioning about the murder of a Catholic community worker in Northern Ireland ten days ago.
The man, 34, was detained in Coleraine , Co Londonderry, for questioning about the murder of Kevin McDaid, 49, who was beaten to death by a loyalist mob.
He was also being questioned about the critical injury of another man, Damien Fleming, 46, who was hurt during the same disturbances when the mob invaded a mainly Catholic area after Rangers pipped Celtic to the Scottish Premier League title.
A 41-year-old man arrested yesterday was released on police bail last night pending further inquiries.
Six people have so far been charged with the murder and, with two others, the attempted murder of Mr Fleming.
Several other people have been charged with assaulting Mrs McDaid and a pregnant woman the crowd turned on when they tried to intervene to save Mr McDaid from his attackers.
