Man arrested after police find wife's body
A man has been arrested on suspicion of murdering his wife at their family home in Oxfordshire.
The 38-year-old, named in the media as Andrew Parsons, was taken in for questioning by Thames Valley Police after Janeé Parsons, 31, was declared dead in hospital despite attempts to resuscitate her at the property in Bicester on Saturday morning. He remained in police custody last night.
The couple's two children, aged five and eight, were taken away by officers, according to reports.
Detective Chief Inspector Joe Kidman, leading the investigation, said yesterday: "We're not looking for anyone else in connection with this incident but are keen to speak with anyone in Lucerne Avenue [on Saturday morning] who may be able to help us establish the circumstances of this tragic incident."
